In this episode, we are reading Davos 6.  Davos watches over the sermons delivered by Melisandre. We discover a coup staged by Davos himself to rescue Edrick Storm from the clutches of the red woman. Stannis learns of the Purple Wedding and decides that blood magic must be used again. Davos deploys his trap card and informs Stannis that there will not be a kingsblood sacrifice, as he got rid of Edrick.
