One of the biggest moves of the Washington offseason was announced on Monday and the reaction was mixed among Husky Nation. Some were a little less than thrilled, while others took a more pragmatic approach.The most important question is to figure out why Jimmy Lake promoted within while figuring out how to replace Pete Kwiatkowski on the staff.Lake noted in his Monday press conference that after an exhaustive process where he interviewed several candidates from the professional and college ranks, it became evident that Bob Gregory was the right man to fill the open defensive coordinator spot. That move allowed Lake to fill the outside linebacker spot with Ikaika Malloe who and promote defensive analyst Rip Rowan into Malloe's old spot as the defensive line coach. Keith Bhonapha was then given the special teams coordinator title to go along with the running backs and thus, at least currently, Washington's 2021 coaching staff is complete.The guys from Dawgman delve into the coaching announcements, what they say about the process and what they believe it means for the roles on the coaching staff moving forward.
