It's the bye week and since there isn't as much football business as their normally is, we thought it would be a great time to look back at some Husky history. Back in the summer, Chris Fetter and Scott Eklund sat down and counted down the 99 days until the start of the season, focusing on each jersey number and some of the top former players who had worn that number.In part one of our podcast series, Eklund and Fetters talked about researching all of the names as well as some things they didn't know that they discovered during the series.One was Don Coryell, one of the top offensive minds of the modern era of football. He played just one season for Washington, but went on to a storied coaching career with several teams including the San Diego Chargers which he took to two AFC title games.They also discuss some of the toughest aspects of doing the series, including what numbers were the hardest for them to write about and why as well as the reasons certain players were written about while others were not.
