DawgmanRadio: WR Taj Davis and OL Victor Curne talk to the media

For the first time since he arrived at Washington, wide receiver Taj Davis got the chance to sit down and talk with the media. After sitting out the 2020 season due to concerns over COVID, the third-year wide receiver showed up at spring ball and wowed the media as well as the coaches with his hands and the ability to get open.However, a lackluster start to fall camp saw him meet with receivers coach Junior Adams and the two had a frank discussion. Ever since that time, Davis has elevated his game and he currently leads the team in receptions (19) and receiving yards (257) and last week he scored his first collegiate touchdown.Davis discussed his conversation with Adams as well as what has allowed him to have a bit of a breakout season so far. He also talked about what each receiver brings to the table and how strong the receiver room is right now.In addition to Davis, the media also got the chance to chat with offensive lineman Victor Curne. With some of the offensive line's struggles, the question was posed to the Texas native and he was frank about what they needed to work on.He also talked about bouncing back from two poor performances by the offensive line against Montana and Michigan and what they have focused on to get better.
