Dawn of the Planet of the Apes

As a trilogy unfolds it is hard to capture that same spirit from the first film. It's even more difficult to evolve it as this film does. Continuing 10 years after the first film, society has crumbled as only a handful of humans remain, seeking to live amongst the legion of apes taking over. A complete upgrade to the CGI helps to bring you further into the story as well as a powerful theme of coexisting and destruction of mankind to ground it in reality. We know now that apes do not kill apes, but there still may be a war to begin.
