Day 1: Danae Ashley • Daily Advent: Divine Feminine

"God is more than a binary gender."    About today's speaker:  A native of Spokane, Danae Ashley is an Episcopal priest who has served churches and led discernment and spiritual retreats across the United States since 2008. In helping others, she discovered that she needed to be committed to her own self-care and has been healed and supported through spiritual direction and Jungian analysis. She graduated from Adler Graduate School with a Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2014 and is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Washington State and Chief Pastoral Minister at Soul Spa Seattle, LLC.  _____________________   How are we changed if we pray, "Our Mother, who art in Heaven," or, "We believe in one God, the Mother Almighty?" If humans are created in God’s image, perhaps our understanding of and imagination for God has been too narrow.
