In her practice she works with adolescents, adults, couples, and families who are experiencing a range of difficulties related to mental health concerns, interpersonal and relationship problems, and adjustment to major life transitions. Dr. Gallagher has specific interests and extensive experience in the assessment and treatment of Eating Disorders and body image concerns, Anxiety Disorders, trauma informed therapy, and adolescent mental health. She is passionate about Intuitive Eating, working from a HAES approach, and to breaking down the “wellness” obsession. In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Gallagher provides clinical supervision and consultation to regulated health providers. She is also active in providing public education, and training and education to health care providers in the areas of Eating Disorders, body image, and mental health.
