Join us in our first pause - the cave. The cave is the intimate space, it’s where we make room for God to shape us. It is where we turn off the noise of this life so we can hear the voice of God. We are unavailable to the world so we can be fully available to him. At the very birth of the church in Acts 1 and 2, Luke writes that they ‘devoted themselves’. The original word is proskartereo meaning the faithful, disciplined pursuit of something. The cave is an invitation and a commitment to ‘seek God’. For us as a community, the cave is the morning space. You will pause to be thankful, read scripture and reflect to set yourself for the day.
