Confidence – Wisdom Unplugged

Wisdom – the final frontier to true knowledge. Welcome to Wisdom-Trek where our mission is to create a legacy of wisdom, to seek out discernment and insights, and to boldly grow where few have chosen to grow before.
Hello, my friend, I am Guthrie Chamberlain, your captain on our journey to increase wisdom and create a living legacy. Thank you for joining us today as we explore wisdom on our 2nd millennium of podcasts. This is Day 1010 of our trek, and it is time for our 3-minute mini trek called Wisdom Unplugged. This short nugget of wisdom includes an inspirational quote with a little bit of additional content for today’s trek. Consider this your vitamin supplement of wisdom for today. So let’s jump right in with today’s nugget.
Today’s quote is from Robbie McLaughlin, and it is, “Confidence comes from knowing that anything you are successful at was and is made possible by the One who is far greater than human ability or understanding. Therefore, you walk boldly in your gift.”
Confidence

A portion of success does come from your ability, training, understanding, and perseverance, but ultimately all success comes from God as we utilize the skills, ability, and determination that He has granted to us. As we become less concerned about personal fame and recognition for the success that we achieve, the more successful we will become.
God ultimately grants success and also permits failure in our lives. It is up to us to recognize this and to bring honor to God’s name in all that we do, regardless of the outcome. For most of us, this is a very humbling experience because we like to take credit for our achievements and be recognized for them. We should be thankful that by God’s grace and blessings we are able to achieve success in many areas of life and that He has granted us the gifts and ability to do so. We can walk confidently, boldly, and humbly before God and others with the realization that yes, we need to do our part, but ultimately God is in control.
