Today’s quote is from Michael Josephson, and it is, “Whether we want them or not, the New Year will bring new challenges; whether we seize them or not, the New Year will bring new opportunities.” New Challenges and New Opportunities Every year, in fact, every day, we are continually faced with both challenges and opportunities. They may actually be the same experience. A challenging situation is actually an opportunity. We must do away with the thinking that challenges are negative and opportunities are positive.  Both are actually neutral, and it is how we perceive the situation that makes it a challenge or an opportunity. Every challenge has opportunities embedded in its core, and every opportunity will have many challenges that actually make the opportunity worthwhile. Regardless of whether a situation is considered a challenge or opportunity, let us be willing and ready to seize the day, work hard, and take advantage of every challenge and convert it into an opportunity.  Let us be prepared to face every challenge that is contained within every opportunity.
