Day 11: Ephesians 2: 11-13: Far Off, Now Brought Near

Jesus brings near those who were once far from God.Paul reminds Gentile believers who they once were- separated from God's covenant people, without hope, and without knowledge of the true God. But everything changed through Christ. Those who were once far away have been brought near by His blood. The gospel does not simply improve our lives; it brings us into relationship with God and into His covenant family.Reflection: Do you view your relationship with God as something you earned or something Christ secured for you?
