So let’s jump right in with today’s funny which is titled… A Demanding Father Pastor Jim, a country preacher, is walking down a lane near the Smith farm on an exceptionally hot day. As he is about to pass a hay field, he sees Sam Smith Jr. struggling with all his mite to load a big pile of hay back onto the cart where it had obviously fallen off. Pastor Jim calls over and says, “You look very hot, Sammy. Why don’t you come on over and rest a moment? I have some fresh cold lemonade, and after you are refreshed I’ll give you a hand.” “No, thanks,” says Sam Jr. “My father wouldn’t approve.” “Don’t be silly,” Pastor Jim says. “Your dad is not that harsh, is he?
