The tournament continues with two further groups concluding and three of the eight teams getting ready for their flight back home. Host Rob Murphy and co Host Ciaran O’Hara are joined by Mick Foley and special guest Ewan McKenna from the Black Eye podcast to discuss Colombia’s emergence in this World Cup and the difficult truth of how the team was funded and inspired.  The podcast builds towards the perfect finale where the crew discuss arguably the finest goal of this or almost any world cup as Roberto Baggio slaloms through the Czechoslovak defence to score a goal for the ages.  We say goodbye to UAE, USA and Austria even if they technically still had a mathematical chance of being among the third place qualifiers, the exit seemed inevitable and the performances meant they wouldn’t be missed.
