We walk through how Naomi’s family fled famine to Moab, how Naomi lost her husband and sons, and how Ruth—an impoverished foreigner—chose loyal, sacrificial love by clinging to Naomi and returning to Bethlehem. We unpack Boaz as the kinsman-redeemer who pays to restore Elimelech’s lost land and marries Ruth despite the cost, contrasting him with another relative who refused.
