He will establish you and guard you against the evil one."2 Thessalonians 3:3DevotionalLike His steadfast love, the LORD’s devotion to us is unwavering.God revealed His faithfulness to all who would come to trust in Him through Jesus Christ’s life, death, and resurrection.We have every reason to have hope in God. His actions prove His unchanging character.While we live in a world characterized by darkness and temptation, our God establishes and guards us.God’s faithfulness is so great, it extends far beyond our limited perspective and understanding.The Lord’s commitment to us can also be witnessed in ways we can comprehend. Each of us can testify of His steadfastness in our lives.It remains clear, our Father fulfills His Word. As His image-bearers, we are invited to live and serve in a way that displays His faithfulness and love to the world.Men of GodWhile the world may assert that men should be self-sufficient, we are designed by God to depend on His faithfulness.Though storms may rage in our lives, we can trust the One who overcame sin, death, and the devil to establish us and guard us against the evil one as He promised.Jesus remains the steady anchor for our souls.He stayed faithful until the end and in Him, we can find solace in any storm.Though we encounter trials, we can trust in the Lord's unchanging character and His commitment to save and guide us.ApplicationTake a moment to reflect God’s faithfulness to you over the years. Recall instances where His love and mercy were evident. Remember how He has been true to fulfill His promises.Express your gratitude to God for His constant devotion to you. With all the strength God supplies, make every effort to trust in Him today—in the sunshine and the storm alike. The LORD is your portion; hope in Him!PrayerAlmighty God,Thank You for the countless times You have proven Yourself merciful and faithful in my life.Direct my heart to Your love and to the steadfastness of Christ.I am in awe of Your unceasing love and unmatched intentionality.Help me to lean on Your promises, to hope in You in all situations.You are my portion now and forever, righteous One.
