Day 18: A Night To Remember: Supporting Young Musicians
from What If You're Not The Problem? · host Regina Williams
Day 18 of 30 - was truly a night to remember.Today was all about showing up, being present, and supporting young musicians. I attended a beautiful senior recital at The Chicago Academy of the Arts, featuring percussionist Mireya Ross - and what made it even more special is that the entire evening was completely produced by Mireya herself. From the music selections to the musicians she chose to accompany her, the night was filled with creativity, excellence, and heart. There is something powerful about watching young artists step into their gift with confidence, discipline, and passion. As The Barefoot Violinist, I know how much it matters when people show up for the arts. A recital is not just a performance. It is the result of practice, courage, sacrifice, preparation, and the beautiful decision to share your gift with the world. And today, I’m still being Be-Mighty - Body, Mind, Movement, and Truth.Body: I showed up and was present.Mind: I was inspired by the next generation of musicians.Movement: Music moved through the room in so many beautiful ways.Truth: Supporting young artists matters. This is Rethinking Weight - releasing the weight physically, emotionally, and mentally, while making room for joy, creativity, purpose, and community.🎻 Music by The Barefoot Violinist🌐 Visit: https://RethinkingWeight.com🪡 Clothing Design by ArtbyHUI.com🎁 Grab your FREE Gift on the homepageYoutube Video: https://youtu.be/eoBIEgiqvRg
