While setting forth the truth of the mystery the Catechism of the Council of Trent warns that such a study should not be undertaken with "curious inquisitiveness" but rather only by those that are ready for a "mature consideration." We take a brief look at two articles from the Tertia Pars of the Summa Theologica (IIIa Q. 23 A.4 and Q. 2. A. 6)
