So let’s jump right in with today’s nugget:Today’s quote is from Gotthold Ephraim Lessing, and it is: A single grateful thought raised to heaven is the most perfect prayer.The Perfect PrayerGod certainly wants to hear all of our prayers and petitions that we offer up to His holy throne, So we should never hesitate to come boldly into His presence with all of our requests and needs. One type of prayer we often overlook with the prayer of grateful praise for His untold and eternal blessings and grace in our lives. You could say that the outpouring of our hearts in recognition of God is the most perfect type of prayer. Even when we suffer hardships and trials, there is much to praise God for during difficult times. God will certainly give us the strength that we need to endure anything that comes into our path of life. During those tribulations, we can be purified and drawn closer to Him as His imager showing forth God through our lives. As you approach God in prayer, first bring your praise and adoration before reviewing a list of demands and petitions. You may also consider just praises to His name during some prayer times. He already knows all of our needs before we ask.
