from Wisdom-Trek.com · host Harold Guthrie Chamberlain III

Welcome to Day 1885 of our Wisdom-Trek, and thank you for joining me.This is Guthrie Chamberlain, Your Guide to WisdomTrue Abundance – Daily WisdomWelcome to Wisdom-Trek with Gramps. We are on Day 1885 of our Trek, and it’s time to explore another nugget of wisdom, which includes an inspirational quote and some wise words from Gramps for today’s trek. Wisdom is the final frontier in gaining true knowledge. So we are on a daily trek to create a legacy of wisdom, seek out discernment and insights, and boldly grow where few have chosen to grow before.Hello, my friend; this is Gramps. Thanks for coming along on today’s trek as we increase Wisdom and Create a Living Legacy. https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Proverbs%2016%3A16andversion=NLT (Proverbs 16:16) How much better to get wisdom than gold, and sound judgment than silver! If you apply the words you hear today, over time, it will help you become more healthy, wealthy, and wise as you continue your daily trek of life. So let’s jump right in with today’s nugget:Today’s quote is from Wisdom-Trek.com, and it is: Abundance is the ability to enjoy each day, not the size of our bank account.True AbundanceWe all feel we would have an abundance if we didn’t have debt and we had more money in the bank. But, the truth is the size of your bank account, car, or house has little to do with actual abundance. The abundance of our hearts is true riches. Wealthy people or those with an abundance of material things are usually no more satisfied or at peace with themselves and others than someone who has very little of this world’s goods. An abundance only comes from being grateful for what you have already. If you are not thankful for what you already have, you will not be grateful for more. Learn to be content with whatever you have, and then if God allows you to obtain more material wealth, you will be satisfied at all times. Focus on having an abundance of the fruit of the spirit found in https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Gal+5%3A22-23andversion=NLT (Galatians 5:22-23), But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things! We need to learn contentment from the Apostle Paul in https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Philippians+4%3A11-12andversion=NLT (Philippians 4:11-12)Not that I was ever in need, for I have learned how to be content with whatever I have. I know how to live on almost nothing or with everything. I have learned the secret of living in every situation, whether it is with a full stomach or empty, with plenty or little. As you ponder this nugget of wisdom for yourself, please encourage your friends and family to join us and come along tomorrow for another day of ‘Wisdom-Trek, Creating a Legacy.’If you would like to listen to any of our past 1884 treks or read the Wisdom Journal, they are available at Wisdom-Trek.com.
