🖤 Reflecting as you go? This week's free companion journal has a page for today's practice too. Download your journal here → Yesterday, we practiced letting go. Today, we ask a different question: now that your hands are a little emptier, what do you actually want to fill them with? This week, we're moving through a full journey into Karma Yoga — the practice of right action. Day 2 is about focus. Today's Practice: Affirmation — "I focus on what matters most." In today's 10-minute meditation, we'll work with a simple affirmation to help you cut through the noise and return, again and again, to what truly matters. We'll gently notice where your energy has been scattered, and practice redirecting it — not through force, but through steady, repeated intention. This technique works because the mind follows what it repeats. A short, clear affirmation acts like a mental anchor — every time your attention drifts, "I focus on what matters most" gives you something simple and immediate to come back to, rather than needing to solve the whole day's chaos at once. 📜 Wisdom for Today "When the mind rests steadily and without wavering on a single point, that is true concentration." — Patanjali, Yoga Sutras Patanjali's teaching reminds us that focus isn't about forcing our attention — it's about gently, repeatedly returning the mind to one point until it settles there naturally. That's exactly the spirit behind today's affirmation. 💛 Daily Message for Your Heart Dear Friend, You don't have to do everything today. You don't have to give your attention to everything that asks for it. Just come back — gently, again and again — to what matters most. That return is the practice. With love, Mary 🌙 Sleep Softly Tonight Before bed tonight, try this simple ritual: Lie down and take three slow breaths. Silently repeat: I focus on what matters most. With each repetition, let your mind settle a little more, like sediment slowly sinking in still water. Let your body soften into the mattress, one region at a time, from your forehead down to your feet. Let tonight be a quiet return to what matters.
