On the surface it can feel repetitive and unfamiliar, but underneath it’s the mercy of God spelled out in detail. Every sacrifice is a sermon: sin is serious, atonement requires blood, and God Himself provides the way back into fellowship. Leviticus isn’t about Israel climbing up to God. It’s about God making a path for broken people to live in His presence without being destroyed.And as we read, we’re meant to see the shadow and the substance.
