Day 22: Obedience in Purity Beyond What People See

Purity gets talked about like it’s mostly external, but I’m inviting you to go deeper with me. Day 22 of 31 Days of Obedience centers on obedience and purity through Psalm 51:10–12, where David’s prayer asks God for a clean heart, a renewed spirit, restored joy, and the willingness to obey. That word willing is a checkpoint for every woman of faith who wants consistent Christian living without performing for people.We walk through a hard but freeing question: Is there anything in my heart, thoughts, or motives that I’ve been willing to tolerate privately that I know God is asking me to surrender? I name the kinds of hidden battles that can quietly shape our choices, resentment, jealousy, pride, lust, comparison, bitterness, selfish ambition, even the desire for recognition. Obedience isn’t only doing the “right” thing. God wants access to the reasons underneath what we do, the why beneath our yes.Then we take a practical step you can do today: five quiet minutes with God. I’ll guide you to pray, listen, and respond without justifying, minimizing, or condemning yourself. Confess specifically, surrender it, and ask God to purify what He reveals, your intentions, imagination, words, anger, ambitions, or motives for serving.
