God's presence fills the temple as a cloud. Solomon offers a heartfelt prayer and sacrifice, and fire from heaven consumes the offerings. God appears to Solomon, affirming His covenant and warning of consequences for disobedience. In 1 Corinthians, Paul warns believers to flee from idolatry, drawing a clear line between the Lord's Supper and idol feasts.
