The Lord is not just trying to keep Israel “religious.” He is protecting His presence among them, exposing how uncleanness spreads, and showing that forgiveness and fellowship come only through atonement He provides.These chapters can feel intense, but they are meant to do something in us: make sin look deadly, make grace look necessary, and make us long for a better Priest and a better sacrifice. And that’s exactly where they point.
