Day 236 of the Holy Bible One Year CHALLENGE. Jehoram becomes king, does evil, and dies a painful death. His son Ahaziah follows in wickedness and is killed. Athaliah, Ahaziah's mother, takes over but is overthrown by the priest Jehoiada, who makes Joash king. Joash starts ruling well as a child, guided by God's laws. In 1 Corinthians, Paul explains that our bodies must change to enter God's kingdom, and victory over death is assured through Jesus.
