Day 276 - Matthew 2

From the very beginning, Jesus’ arrival demands a response. While the Magi travel from afar and joyfully worship Him as King, Herod reacts with fear and violent resistance, revealing the clash between God’s kingdom and the kingdoms of this world. Even in the midst of darkness and suffering, God is faithfully fulfilling His promises, guiding every step according to His plan. This chapter invites us to examine our own hearts, asking whether we will surrender to Jesus as King like the Magi or resist His authority like Herod, reminding us that it is possible to know about Him and still miss Him entirely.
