John the Baptist, imprisoned and questioning whether Jesus is truly the promised One, receives confirmation through Jesus’ works. Jesus confronts cities that witnessed His miracles but refused to repent, while also inviting the weary to come to Him for rest. Opposition intensifies as religious leaders accuse Him of breaking the Sabbath and working by demonic power, but Jesus identifies Himself as greater than the temple and Lord of the Sabbath.
