Day 285- The Two Roots of Every Sin: Ignorance and Desire | Ahzab 63-73, Saba 1-3

In this episode, we conclude Surah Al-Ahzab and begin Surah Saba'. Allah warns us about the danger of blindly following leaders, influencers, and the opinions of the crowd at the expense of His guidance. We reflect on the story of Musa عليه السلام, the power of truthful speech, and the immense trust (amanah) that Allah placed upon humanity.We also explore a profound insight from the scholars: that the roots of many of our struggles lie in ignorance and following our desires. Through repentance, knowledge, and sincerity, Allah guides the believer from darkness to light. Finally, as Surah Saba' opens, we reflect on Allah's perfect knowledge, wisdom, and ownership of all creation, and how developing muraqabah, the awareness that Allah sees and knows all things, transforms our character, choices, and relationship with Him.
