Day 289: Saint Stephen of Hungary

Today we honor Saint Stephen of Hungary, the first Christian king of Hungary and a ruler whose faith helped transform an entire nation. Stephen established dioceses, supported monasteries and churches, raised his son Saint Emeric in the faith, and became remembered for his profound devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary.
