After the flood, life begins again. Noah, his family, and the animals leave the ark, and God makes a covenant with humanity, promising never to destroy the earth with a flood again, with the rainbow as a sign of His mercy. Humanity multiplies, and Noah’s sons go on to build the foundations of civilization — cities, cultures, and nations. Yet even in this new beginning, human pride and rebellion continue. The story of the Tower of Babel shows this clearly: people unite to make a name for themselves and resist God’s plan. God scatters them and confuses their language, but His purposes remain, preserving and guiding humanity to redemption.
