If someone is careless enough to do that, you should hold them accountable to their word, even if it was a foolish promise. Similarly, investing in an unreliable person, like a wayward woman, is also unwise, but they too should be held to their vows. God values keeping promises and doesn’t approve of breaking your word.Verse 14 points out that not everyone is a morning person, so don’t try to force them into being one—it won’t go well!Verses 15 and 16 compare a nagging, argumentative spouse to a form of torture, like water dripping endlessly, making life miserable.Think about this: Are you someone who nags or constantly argues over things? Being contentious and nagging often become habits.
