Day 33 of 100: Developing self control

from Kate's Take Hosted by Kate Erickson

I'm fired up to be here with you today! Today is day 33 of 100. If you're ready to learn simple ways to develop self control, then you're in the right place. First, let's call on our 5 questions. These questions are the bookends to your day - answer 1 and 2 in the morning, and 3 - 5 at night. What's one thing I'm grateful for? What's one thing I'll accomplish today that will bring me one step closer to my goal? What's something that's working well for me right now? What's something that's not working well for me right now? How can I either solve what's not working right now, or get rid of it? Something I've learned over the years while trying to gain back control of my time is this: I can do it all, but I can't do it all right now. And without self control, the only result possible is feeling under accomplished and over stressed. So next time you get that all-too-familiar-feeling of "I have so much to do and I don't know where to start!" STOP. Brain dump, prioritize, and remember: you can do it all, but you can't do it all right now. I hope today's episode all about developing self control came at just the right time for you. As always, don't hesitate to reach out to me and share your wins - and your struggles. I'm [email protected] or katelerickson on Instagram.
