Day 351- When Truth Conflicts With Desire | Tur 42-49, Najm 1-26

In today’s episode, we explore what happens when you know what is right, but your nafs wants something else.As Surah al-Tur closes, Allah teaches us how to remain patient when life feels unfair, falsehood seems powerful, and circumstances are beyond our control. Then Surah al-Najm turns our attention to revelation, reminding us that the Prophet ﷺ came with sound knowledge, sound judgment, and guidance from Allah. We look at the struggle between guidance and desire, why doubts and cravings can distort the way we see truth, and Ibn al-Qayyim’s powerful distinction between real hope and mere wishful thinking.Faith is not simply knowing what is true. It is training ourselves to follow the truth, even when it goes against what we want.
