Day 36: In the Beginning

Yesterday we started looking at the end of the flood story and delved into the ideas of covenant. There are all kinds of things to pay attention to when you start to unpack the covenants.  But there are three key parts of the Noahic Covenant. And that is what I want us to focus on in Genesis 9. God modifies our relationship with the earth and other living things. He further defines our relationship with each other. And then, finally, he has a few things to say about our relationship with Him, which leads to the sign he gives to us. Let’s look at the first part today.
