You can't.   The people you spend the most time with or don't spend the most time with is often influenced by your work.  So is your personal growth as a person, where you physically spend your time, and even the amount of money that you earn.  For this reason, it's incredibly important for you to understand not just what you want in your work but also what you want in every other area of your life!
