See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?" – Isaiah 43:18-19Often, we spend so much time looking backward—rehashing old mistakes, revisiting past pain, or longing for what was—that we miss the new and beautiful things God is doing right now. Today’s devotional, Day 44: Focusing Forward, is a powerful reminder to let go of the past and focus on the new and hopeful future God has promised.

💡 Key Verse:

"Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?" – Isaiah 43:18-19

Often, we spend so much time looking backward—rehashing old mistakes, revisiting past pain, or longing for what was—that we miss the new and beautiful things God is doing right now. But the only reason to look back is to see how far God has brought us.

✨ Encouragement for Today:

God is always working on something NEW in your life. He has plans full of hope, promise, and restoration.

Dwelling on the past can keep us stuck, but focusing forward positions us to receive the blessings God has already prepared for us.

Trust that His "new thing" is better than anything you’ve left behind.
