Day 6: from Proverbs and Psalms

Proverbs 6- warnings against guaranteeing another's debt, laziness (like the ant's example), and the destructive ways of the wicked- seven things the Lord hates: haughty eyes, lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, heart devising wicked plans, feet rushing to evil, false witness, and one who sows discord- dangers of adultery: it leads to loss of honor, wealth, health, and life, bringing ruin like fire- command to obey parental teaching and keep wisdom to avoid the adulteress's flattery and deadly pathPsalms 26-30- Psalm 26: David asks God to examine his integrity and declares trust in the Lord without wavering- Psalm 27: the Lord is light and salvation, so fear no one; seek to dwell in His house- Psalm 28: plea for God not to ignore cries, but to punish the wicked and strengthen His people- Psalm 29: give glory to God for His powerful voice, which controls nature and reigns forever- Psalm 30: thanksgiving for deliverance from near-death, turning weeping into joyful dancing
