Day 66: 1 Chronicles 16-20

Worship becomes the heartbeat of the nation, not as performance, but as remembrance. God has been faithful, and His people are called to declare it.Then in chapter 17, God makes His covenant with David, promising an everlasting kingdom. David wants to build a house for God, but God promises to build a house for David. From there, we see David’s victories over surrounding nations, showing that God is establishing his reign.Yet even in strength, David is not perfect.
