A dying leader's last words carry more weight than all his first ones combined. Joshua's is a simple formula: God fought for you, so cling to Him. But in his final speech he flips the order everyone expects — not “God is with you, so be strong,” but choose, right now, whom you will serve. He already knows how the story ends. Israel won't choose well. That failure is exactly what the rest of Scripture is building toward.
