Day 69: Numbers 35-36
from Five Minute Bible · host Kendall Lankford
DAY 69: Numbers 35–36 Numbers 35–36 concludes the wilderness journey by establishing the structures that will shape Israel’s life in the promised land. God assigns cities to the Levites and establishes cities of refuge, ensuring that justice is administered with both accountability and mercy. The final instructions about inheritance preserve stability among the tribes so that the land remains ordered according to God’s design. These chapters reveal that God’s law shapes an entire society, and they ultimately point to Christ, the true refuge where sinners find mercy while God’s justice is perfectly satisfied.
