Day 77- Seeking Judgment Without Seeking Truth | Maidah 42-47

In today’s verses, Allah exposes the hypocrisy of those who claimed to follow revelation while hiding its truth. The Jews of Madinah listened to lies, consumed unlawful wealth, and came to the Prophet seeking judgments that suited their desires, even though the authentic ruling already existed in their own scripture. Allah reminds them of the Torah He revealed to Musa, a book of guidance, clarity, and light that their prophets and scholars were entrusted to uphold. He recounts the laws of justice and retribution written upon them, and how pardon brings spiritual reward for the one who forgives.
