Days after Uvalde massacre, NRA hosts annual summit

Guest: Edward Keenan, Washington Bureau Chief Despite calls to cancel, the National Rifle Association's annual meeting went ahead as planned in Houston this weekend, a mere 482 kilometres away from Uvalde, Texas where just days prior one of the deadliest school shootings in the U.S. in over a decade left 21 people dead (including 19 children). Two weeks before that, 10 people were shot dead at a grocery store in Buffalo, New York in an act called "a hate crime and an act of racially motivated violent extremism."
