The offer for the cabin vacation comes from Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) following the recent traumatizing events with Amy Choi (Shi Ne Nielson). As Holly and Ari, along with Tate Black (Leo Howard) and Aaron Greene (Louis Tomeo), plan for their getaway, fans are left wondering if they might stumble upon the missing Sophia Choi (Rachel Boyd).  DOOL spoilers suggest that amid the ongoing tension surrounding Sophia's alleged suicide and Amy's accusations against Holly, DA Belle Black (Martha Madison) has found there's insufficient evidence to arrest Holly for manslaughter. However, Amy remains in denial and is considering a wrongful death lawsuit against Holly. EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) and Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) have both offered to protect Holly from Amy's wrath, leading Sarah to suggest a peaceful cabin getaway.  Spoilers for Days of our Lives indicate that the mystery of Sophia's fate continues as her body remains unfound, dead or alive. Glimpses of Sophia have been seen, but these may be hallucinations due to Kristen DiMera's (Stacy Haiduk) guilty conscience. Could the girls stumble upon Sophia during their vacation, or will they find evidence suggesting foul play in her disappearance?  In the DOOL summer promo, EJ is seen confronting his sister Kristen for her plot against his son Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman).
