God does want us to have abundance. The real question is what is our motivation? If it is to use money as a status symbol to run over people then you're in violation of the laws of the Kingdom. But if your motivation is to bless the lives of others and to help you and your family live comfortably without worshiping money creating a golden calf then God can bless you with abundance. We have a good ship bountiful to carry us to the rest of our journey of finding belonging but your motivation behind the moments with faith in Christ puts the motor into the ship
