DC Studios Reportedly Ditching 'Waller' and 'Paradise Lost' Development According to recent industry reports, DC Studios is quietly shifting its television strategy and shelving two of its previously announced series: the Amanda Waller spin-off Waller (starring Viola Davis) and the Themyscira-set prequel Paradise Lost. The article notes that as the studio hones its overarching "Chapter One: Gods and Monsters" narrative, executives are opting to streamline the slate. By putting these specific projects on the back burner, DC is prioritizing its heavy hitters like Superman, Supergirl, and the Lanterns series, potentially saving the lore of Themyscira and Amanda Waller's machinations for upcoming theatrical crossover events.
