Hackersgroep Black Witch heeft onlangs schade aangericht op 30 Nederlandse websites, waaronder ziekenhuizen, door nazi symbolen te plaatsen. Tegelijkertijd worden er besmette software updates verspreid via gehackte routers, waardoor systemen kwetsbaar worden voor aanvallen. De Sneaky 2FA phishingkit maakt gebruik van pop ups die de browseradresbalk nabootsen, en een kwaadaardige 'gratis' VPN extensie heeft wereldwijd 9 miljoen gebruikers verleid, waarna het hun browsegegevens stal. Er wordt momenteel een zeroday exploit aangeboden voor Windows en Office waarmee op afstand code kan worden uitgevoerd. Internationale samenwerking heeft geleid tot arrestaties in een mensenhandeloperatie. In het Verenigd Koninkrijk is een bulletproof hostingoperator onthuld die banden heeft met de LockBit- en Evil Corp-groepen.
