De Lille lays charges against DA senior leaders

SAfm — Former Cape Town Mayor Patricia De Lille says she is taking legal action against four DA leaders as a matter of principle. She laid charges of fraud and crimen injuria against Mike Waters MP, Bronwynne Engelbrecht MP, Shehana Kajee and Henk Hugo at the Cape Town police station earlier today. This relates to a post that they circulated on social media alleging that she had a hand in tender irregularities in the municipal bus service MiCiti. The document was purported to be from the Auditor-General’s office but the AG denied this. Our reporter Abongile Kobokana was at the Cape Town police station.
