De Sousa to Gonzaga Soon | Gonzaga Bulldogs Basketball News

Gonzaga’s point guard future just got a major boost as French prodigy Nathan De Sousa, 23, prepares to land in Spokane next week. After committing back in June, he’s now just waiting on his visa and NCAA waiver before officially joining the team — and if approved, he could be a game-changer. With key departures like Jack Kayil and Mario Saint-Supery, plus uncertainty around transfer Javon Bennett, Gonzaga desperately needs playmaking firepower. De Sousa brings elite experience: nearly 11 points, 5 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per game last season, plus over 36% from three. He’s not alone — fellow international commit Izan Almansa is also awaiting clearance. With preseason looming, everyone’s holding their breath for quick approval. If De Sousa clears, he’ll inject much-needed leadership and scoring punch into Gonzaga’s shaky backcourt. Listen in comfort:Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
