Deac Diaries: Entry 2

Dear Deac Diaries, It's Roksanna and Prarthna again. Today we spoke with Alex Wood ('26) and Carly Wilson ('26) of the women's soccer team. On Sat. Nov. 12, they will be playing the University of South Carolina in the first round of the NCAA tournament, so before they left we decided to chat. We talked about how they ended up in Winston-Salem, how they balance being a college freshman and a collegiate athlete, and what it's like to live on the same hall as a super cool podcast host. They wouldn't let us ride their scooters, but other than that we had a great time talking to them. We hope you enjoy it as much as us. If you have a story you want to tell or one you want to hear, let us know at [email protected] or [email protected] — we want to put your entry into the Deac Diary. xoxo This podcast is a product of the Old Gold & Black, Wake Forest University's student newspaper. It is hosted by Prarthna Batra and Roksanna Keyvan; produced by Sara Hagiwara; and managed by Cooper Sullivan.
