He proves His power to a skeptical crowd when he calls in to his friend, Lazarus, who has been dead for four days, and and says, "Lazarus, come out. Death, release my friend". In doing so, He shows how he has come to earth to conquer all things, even death. This precursor victory over death is a prelude to His ultimate victory over death, and his resurrection on Easter Sunday!
